New Delhi: A joint exercise is likely to take place between Special Forces commandos and frontline fighters from Indian Air Force (IAF)’s inventory today on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway where C-130 transport aircraft will land.
On Tuesday, a plot of Lucknow-Agra Expressway will get doubled as a bit of government’s decision to classify and create several highways for utilization as runways throughout emergencies.
The joint operation will be conducted on Lucknow-Agra expressway close to Bangarmau in Unnao district, situated in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. It will begin with a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft of Indian Air Force reaching to the highway along with Garud commandos.
As per the reports, the fighter jet that will come on the highway will involve three Jaguar fighters, 6 Mirage 2000 fighters.
The occasion is being prearranged by the Indian Air Force as well as the state government.
As per the officials of the Road and Transport Ministry, at least 12 highways have been vacated for same landing operations.
