Transformer accident death toll reached to 19


Jaipur: During a marriage ceremony in Khatolai village of Biratnagar area, a child of Jhulasi died while undergoing treatment at the nearby electricity transformer. With this, the number of people killed in the accident has increased to 19.

A doctor from Sawai Man Singh Hospital said that eight-year-old Shalu died during treatment. Four people suffering from this accident are undergoing treatment. It is worth mentioning that five people died on the spot in the accident in the last few days, while 14 others died in the hospital during treatment.

Earlier, 65-year-old Gulli Devi lost its lives due to transformer blast. She was shifted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital for the treatment where the doctors declared her dead.
