The trail run of Uttar Pradesh government's much publicised Lucknow Metro will be held today with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his dad Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav flagging it.
The function for the same will be held at Transport Nagar stop and the trial run will be on 8.5 km extends till Charbagh station, official sources said in Lucknow.
The 23-km long North-South corridor will have 21 stations, including eight raised ones, and the estimated cost of this venture will be around Rs. 6800 crores.
The essential area (between Transport Nagar to Charbagh) would be open for public on March 26 next year following three months' thorough trial.
At the capacity, SP state president Shivpal Yadav is likewise prone to be available.
