Despite having capacity to meet demand, the company said Mumbai customers will have to wait more than two months to get delivery. as the demand increases they will ramp up output and lower the waiting period, he said. The Crysta is available in four different variants – G, GX, VX, and ZX.
Powered by 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engines, the MPV comes in three new colours garnet red, white pearl crystal shine and avant-garde bronze, along with the existing silver, grey and super white.
Delhi NCR is one of the largest markets for Toyota and due to the ban it cannot be registered in the capital since diesel engines on offer are above 2,000cc. However, introducing a petrol engine will help them resume sales in Delhi/NCR.
