Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha trailer has impressed Bollywood and the critics. Akshay’s colleagues are all praises for the film. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha deals with the story of a married couple Keshav (Akshay) and Jaya (Bhumi), who go against all odds to spread awareness about sanitation in their town. They take up a fight against open defecation by building toilets. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is inspired by Prime Minister Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The trailer has so far gotten more than 5 million views and counting. “Super trailer Akshay. Can hardly wait to watch this exceptionally relevant and entertaining film,” tweeted filmmaker Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, on-screen character Anil Kapoor posted about by the film’s subject. “Voicing an important issue in a heartwarming and eye opening way! Kudos,” wrote Anil Kapoor, Akshay’s co-star of movies like Tashan, Welcome and Bewafaa.
