Actor Akshay Kumar confirmed that CBFC has cut only three scenes, not eight in his new upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha on Wednesday.
It is being said today morning that Censor Board has cut eight scenes of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha film. The reports also stated that director Shree Narayan Singh have given the cost of eight cuts to get it certified.
Akshay stated, “I have read news that the film has got eight or nine cuts from the censor board, but this is wrong. We have got three verbal cuts in the film.”
He said, “I remember one of the cuts clearly. They asked us to remove the word ‘h*r**mi’ and there two more verbal cuts. I don’t know from where this news comes that the film has got 8 cuts. I was surprised myself.”
Prior, it was said that the Censor Board allegedly targeted to a firm position to bulls and also a shot indulging Janaeu, the holy white thread worn by Brahmins. Now, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will be released with U/A certificate.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha film involves Bhumi Pednekar, Divyendu Sharma and Anupam Kher in the prominent roles. The shooting of upcoming film has been done in two villages close to Mathura and emphasizes on the deprived state of sanitation facilitation in the rural area of India and the significance of toilet structure.
