Tirupur: Woman slips into drainage, killed

Tirupur: A 62-year-old woman on Wednesday morning found dead in drainage in Angeripalayam district of Tirupur. The departed recognized as K Shenbagavalli of Mariamman Koil Street. Police officials also conveyed that woman worked as a sweeper with a garment producing unit.

Police supposed that she have slipped into the drainage as revisiting to work following having breakfast at her house. Shenbagavalli was immediately hurried to the administration hospital, where doctors affirmed her dead.

When rumours spread that the woman was electrocuted, police started questioning with the owner of a private corporation, where the drainage was situated.

The doctors at the administration hospital ruled possibility of electrocution. The Anupparpalayam police filed a case under Section 174 of CrPC.

Police conveyed that, further investigations in the case are on.
