Three arrested in Delhi constable murder case


New Delhi: Police has arrested all the accused on Saturday in a development to the murder case of Delhi constable, who was shot dead by three unidentified miscreants while saving a couple from a robbery. Constable was unidentified miscreants last Friday night.

Anand Singh, the constable, who was posted at Bawana Industrial area, was shot dead in outer Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area at around 9 pm while trying to catch miscreants fleeing after snatching a bag from a woman. 

Anand later chased them and managed to catch two of them. However, one of the assailants pulled out a country-made pistol and shot the constable. Even after getting shot, constable refused to let them go and was constantly getting hit with a helmet by the miscreants. 

Leaving Anand bleeding, the assailants left the spot in a jiffy. The Delhi government had later on Saturday announced Rs. one crore compensation to Anand's family.
