These car makers to increase prices of cars by 2018


Jalandhar:  If you are thinking of buying a new car this new year, then this news may disappoint you. In fact, from the beginning of next year, Nissan and Datsun are going to increase prices of their cars. Apart from this, companies like Mahindra, Isuzu, Skoda, Volkswagen, Jeep, Ford, Tata Motors and Toyota can also increase the prices of their cars.

Toyota to launch Electric Cars in India soon

The prices of Nissan and Datsun cars will be increased by Rs 15,000 which will be effective from 1 January 2018. Prices have been increased according to the variant of the car model, and the reason behind the increase in car prices has been attributed to almost all automakers. According to the automaker, the move has taken the step due to the changing economy, cost escalation in India and increase in production costs.

Upon increasing prices, Niran Motor India Managing Director Jerome Saigot said, “With the increase in input and production costs, the company has decided to increase the prices of Nissan and Datsun cars, which will be increased from January 2018.
