The Indian women’s team lost 1-2 to the UK


Marlowe (England). Indian women's hockey team in the ongoing five-match series 1 & 2 from the UK has lost its second consecutive defeat. The Indian team is trailing 0-2 in the series against the hosts. The visitors dominated the first quarter, with full performance. But the pressure was created by hosts in the 15th minute and they scored.

Leigh scored first for the Britain. Britain in the early minutes of the second quarter and converted a penalty corner into the goal and made it 2-0. They maintained the lead at half time. India won a penalty corner in the 32nd minute in the third quarter, but the British defense made it fail.
