Thane girl Kejal Pandey who saved three lives in death gets 80.75 percent in CBSE class 10th exams


Mumbai : Thane girl Kejal Pandey who lost her life in a severe accident last moth scored 8.6 CGPA in the recently published CBSE Class 10 results. Exam results would put a smile on the face of many students and their parents. But for Thane based Pandey family, their wound were re-opened yesterday when CBSE declared its class 10th results. After dead in road accident, she donetes her organs, The donated organs saved the lives of three people, including a child living in Mumbra.

Last month, Kejal who was riding pillion on a two-wheeler with her mother was knocked down by a vehicle. The accident caused severe damage on her brain and she was declared brain dead after few days. The Pandey family who were in a complete shock, decided to donate her liver and kidneys. The generous donation by the family members helped doctors in Mumbai to save three lives which included a 14-year-old child from Mumbra.

The saddened father of Kejal Pandey, Shyamakant Pandey told in an interview, "It is so hard to get used to the fact that she is not here anymore. By donating her organs we feel like she's still alive and amongst us. We didn't have the heart to check her result." Kejal wanted to take up commerce and become a Chartered Accountant, her family member reportedly said. Sadly for her family members her results just re-opened their wounds again.
