HYDERABAD: A 11.7 kg gold crown, worth over Rs. 3 crores will be displayed by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to the Goddess Bhadrakali at Warangal tomorrow, on the event of Durga Navratri.
The offering is towards satisfaction of Mr Rao’s pledge, which he had made amid the disturbance for a different Telangana.The hood was dispatched by the Telangana government from a main Hyderabad gem specialist and Mr Rao reviewed the completed crown himself the previous evening.
This is not the first occasion when that Mr Rao’s activities have cocked eyebrows. In December 2015, Media had reported how a religious service composed for the benefit of Mr Rao had keep running up bills running into a few crores.
