Taxi Giant now offers Ice-Cream: #UberIceCream


The Taxi giant, has initiated a campaign with #UberIceCream, this Friday, on the account of National Ice Cream Day arriving later this week, Uber has partnered with frozen desserts maker Magnum to deliver ice cream bars in more than 400 cities in 69 countries.

To take advantage, Uber says its users simply need to open the app on their smartphones, then set their location and click on the promotion — the ice cream tab. . Pricing for the ice cream will vary, though Uber expects the most common deal to be four Magnum bars for $10.

Uber will be accepting orders from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. no matter what the time zone and will even delivery ice cream in unique ways. That means it may arrive via classic cars in New York; cable cars in San Francisco; Segway personal transporters, drones and hoverboards in Mexico City; and canoes in Hawaii. Those in Bangkok may get their ice cream via speedboat while those in Dallas should be on the lookout for carriage pulled by a horse dressed up as a unicorn.

To grab the deal, app users select the “instant delivery option” on their digital devices.
