Tata Motors today said it has delivered 30 new buses to the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
The new delivery is a piece of a bigger order of 1385 buses bagged away by Tata Motors involving the Ultra 6/9 BS IV Midi and LPO 1512/55 BS IV buses, the organization said.
“This next generation fleet of associated Tata Motors buses presented today, emphasizes our dedication towards the utilization of creative advancements and ideas in Mass Public Transportation, to meet the present and future needs of Smart Cities like Bangalore,” Tata Motors Vice President, Sales and Marketing R T Wasan said.
With an fleet size of more than 2200 Tata Motors transports in BMTC’s fleet, the organization anticipated a proceeded with association with them, in their attempt to fortify people in public transportation system in the city, he said.
Tata Motors said with a seating limit of 30, the new transports are 9 m long and 2.5 m in width, giving sufficient path space for standees.
