Taapsee Pannu’s real life heroics, rescue a victim of eve-teasing


Mumbai: Actor Taapsee Pannu, who will be next seen in Pink, recently rescued a girl from being molested. The incident happened when the Baby actor was shooting in her hometown Delhi, which is infamously known as a unsafe place for women.

The actress who was in Delhi recently to shoot for 'Pink' used to commute by Metro. One day after getting down from the Metro the actress was heding towards her car when she saw some guys passing comments on a girl when she was alone. "The girl was looking terrified and didn't know what to do. I immediately rushed towards her and told her that I would drop her home. 

Being a Delhiite, I know what it is like for a woman to travel alone and that particular incident left me in no doubt that what people say about the nation's capital is indeed true,'' Taapsee was quoted as saying.

In 'Pink', Taapsee essays the role of a rape victim. The film, according to Taapsee, reflects the dubious morals of today's times. The crime thriller also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Taring in lead roles.
