Suzuki Hayabusa was launched in 1999, and in no time the superbike became famous among the bike enthusiasts. In India, Suzuki recently started local meeting of the Hayabusa, resulting in a lower price tag. The superbike kits are brought in Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) form and are assembled at the company’s Gurgaon facility.
Speaking on the occasion Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said, “The ‘Hayabusa Day’ celebrates the passion and spirit of owning and riding this legendary motorcycle and will instill a sense of pride and exclusivity among Hayabusa owners. We intend to make this an annual tradition to promote the Big Bike Culture and the cult following of the Hayabusa among Indian riders.”
