Two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki India introduced the new Suzuki Gixxer SF with ABS in Indian market and priced at Rs 95,499 (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The bike reaches in two trims – carburetted and fuel injection (around Rs 99,312, ex-Delhi).
The Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS is like the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, as it attains a single-channel ABS – sensor only on the front wheel. The rear disc doesn’t attain the ABS sensor. The Suzuki Gixxer Sf Abs available in three color variants-metallic triton blue, glass sparkle black and metallic matte black.
Talking about the features, the new Gixxer SF Abs also sports new decals and SP logos on the fairing. The bike has gained about 5kg weight and presently has a kerb weight of 140kg for the Fi and a kilo more for the carburetted trims.
The mechanicals of bike remain identical to what we have experienced prior- a 14.8PS/14Nm 155cc engine that can be arranged either a fuel injector or carburetor and a 5-speed gearbox transfers the power. The carb trim attains a kick and electric starter.
Previous year, Suzuki unveiled the Gixxer twins with a rear disc brake. Few sellers we spoke conveyed that these versions will currently cease to exist and only the ABS trims will be sold.
