NEW DELHI: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi for a kidney failure from past sometime, was offered a kidney by a young farmer from Jodhpur for the transplant.
The farmer identified as Vishek Vishnoi of Ekalkhori village in Osia Tehsil of Jodhpur district took to the help of social media to make the offer.
He said that the reason behind him offering his kidney for transplant was not because Swaraj is a minister but for her helping nature towards the needy”.
He said the External Affairs Minister has played a “significant part” in saving workers who were caught in Gulf nations.
“Sushma Swaraj has dependably been fast in loaning her assistance to those in need. She worked noiselessly and assumed key part in the safeguard of numerous workers who were caught in Gulf nations. Her work and helping nature made me offer my kidney,” Mr Vishnoi said.
Swaraj had before tweeted she had endured a kidney disappointment and was experiencing tests at AIIMS in Delhi for a transplant.
