Supreme Court ask the Rajasthan government to respond to the bail pleas of Asaram Bapu


NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court today requested that the Rajasthan government react to the safeguard supplications of so called religious figure Asaram Bapu who is confronting trial in assault cases.

A seat of Justices AK Sikri and NV Ramana issued notice to the state government and looked for its answer on two separate interval and consistent safeguard requests of Asaram.

Senior promoter and noted law specialist Soli Sorabjee showing up for Asaram said he has been in prison for a long time and should have been conceded safeguard.The seat said it will take up the supplication for interval abandon October 24 and for consistent safeguard at a later stage.
