Ingredients Of Suji Ka Halwa
- 1 cup sooji (semolina)
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1/4 tsp powdered green cardamom
- 1 Tbsp blanched and shredded almonds – to garnish
How to Make Suji Ka Halwa
- Heat the ghee in a pan and put semolina in it and fry it with the dough. After 5 minutes you will see that semolina has started to pink.
When the semolina becomes light brown, add water and sugar to it and let the halwa be cooked on low flame.
When it is cooked, add cashews and raisins in it and keep it running in a little while.
After some time, remove it from the gas and mix it with cardamom powder. Now take it out in a vessel and decorate it with finely chopped almonds and coconut.
