THANE: Doctors who inspected almost 300 kids in Mokhada taluka in Palghar region today, said the children and their moms were essentially casualties of starvation that has prompted serious wellbeing issues among them.
"These are instances of starvation. The kids, whom we inspected, as well as been observed to keep because of need from adequate nourishment," senior pediatrician Dr Hemant Joshi said after the checkup.
"These are fundamentally instances of starvation. They can't be dealt with by drug alone yet require appropriate nourishment for which they need legitimate wellspring of salary," he said.
The way of their issue was social and it should have been comprehended on need premise, Dr Joshi said, including that there ought to be a political will to handle the issue.
