A 27-year-old Delhi Traffic Police constable was on Sunday pulverized to death by a speeding truck, police said.
Police said the driver, recognized as Pramod Singh, of Haryana's Bhiwani, was arrested from the spot.
"The occurrence occurred at 4 pm, when the constable, Ravinder, an occupant of Police Colony in Narela, was on routine activity development on his engine bicycle at Ashok Vihar's movement circle. A speeding truck hit him from behind and smashed him. He was taken to a close-by healing center where specialists pronounced him dead," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northwest, Vijay Singh.
A body of evidence was enlisted against the driver in Mahendra Park police headquarters.
