Sony Xperia XA Ultra launched with a 6-Inch Display


Sony has extended its Xperia X series with the launch of the Xperia XA Ultra Smartphone. The smartphone being listed on the company's global website but the company has not revealed its price an availability details.

Sony has already set plans to release Xperia XA Ultra in global market and is expected to be announced soon.

The biggest show up of the Xperia XA Ultra is its front 16-megapixel front camera which packs Sony Exmor R for Mobile sensor with front-facing flash. The front camera includes features such as auto-focus, OIS (optical image stabilization), HDR photo and wide angle lens (up to 88 degrees). The single-SIM (Nano SIM) Xperia XA Ultra displays a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) and sports Mobile BRAVIA engine 2, other notable feature of the handset.

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a storage capacity of 16GB that can be expanded up to 200GB via microSD card.

It showcases a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile sensor, hybrid autofocus, quick launch, LED flash, HDR photo and auto-scene recognition. The Xperia XA Ultra comes up with 4G LTE and supports LTE Cat. 4 download speeds. Apart from 4G, it supports GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, NFC, and Micro-USB.

The Sony confirms a quick charger tipping in Xperia XA that may support fast-charging. The handset will be available in color variants of Black, White and Lime Gold. Packed with a 2700mAh battery that can deliver up to 2 days of battery life, it measures 164.2×79.4×8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.

Additionally, Sony has also listed some accessories including the Style Cover SBC34, Style Cover SBC32 and Style Cover Flip SCR60 for the Xperia XA Ultra.
