Sony to unveil Xperia XZs smartphone in India on April 4


Japanese smartphone maker Sony is ready to unveil Xperia XZs smartphone in India on April 4. The company has begun sending invites for the event. Earlier, the handset was unveiled in Japan at MWC 2017 event. Several other phones were also unveiled at the event including Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones.

Talking about its specifications, Sony Xperia XZs features 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and the cellphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The handset will be unveiled in 32GB and 64GB of inbuilt storage options. It can be expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.

Coming to its camera qualities, Sony Xperia XZs handset comes with 19-megapixel primary camera on the rear. On the front, it includes 13-megapixel front camera to take selfies. It contains 2900mAh battery. The cellphone measures 146x72x8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. Other Connectivity options comprise of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port. The handset also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The smartphone was unveiled in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colours.
