Japanese maker Sony on Monday introduced its new Sony Soundbar HT-CT290 speaker in India and is priced at Rs. 19,990. The soundbar will be accessible to buy crossways all Sony Center and main electronics stores crossways the nation.
Talking about the features, the new speakers has the 2.1-channel support which delivers surround sound with output power of 300W. It reaches with a wireless sub-woofer for bass and two drivers for mid and high-range sound. It can be connected to any smartphone, laptop, TV and other music sources wirelessly via Bluetooth and is also equipped with USB (with support for playing MP3 files on USB sticks).
It has the HDMI-out ports to provide wired connectivity and also sports an optical input for televisions not compatible with HDMI ARC. The corporation is touting the soundbar’s 2-way design, which permit it to be placed in either a TV cabinet or rack.
Former Sony unveiled two home entertainment audio systems – MHC-V11 and SHAKE-X30D – in India. The MHC-V11 has a price tag of Rs. 19,990 whereas the SHAKE-X30D is priced at Rs 50,990. Both offer built-in FM radio and provide connectivity via Bluetooth, NFC, and USB port.
The corporation further stated that, they can be integrated with the Sony Music Center app using smartphones to permit customers control the music tracks and render Karaoke and DJ effects. It also has two mic inputs to permit customers to sing along.
