Four-wheeler manufacturer Skoda has now introduced the new Skoda Octavia RS in India and has been priced at Rs 24.62 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The bookings for the new Skoda Octavia RS have now started and users can pay a price of Rs 50,000 and can book the car.
The corporation further conveys that recently the new Octavia RS does not have any competition in the market and is so receiving a good response. The model arrived at a few dealerships and the deliveries will be started from last of September and the price tag for regular Skoda Octavia starts from Rs 15.49 lakh and will go up to Rs 22.90 lakh.
Talking about the features, the new Skoda Octavia RS is the tried and tested 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine that reach mated to a 6-speed DSG automatic transmission. This engine worldwide reaches mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, but will later reach in India.
The new car reaches with a 2-litre motor churns out 230 bhp, develops a peak torque of 350 Nm and also produces 177 bhp in the petrol and 138 bhp on the diesel. The power and torque go from 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds prior to arriving a top speed of 250 kmph, electronically limited of course.
The upfront reaches with a black radiator grille with the vRS badging, chrome surround and the grille is edged by quad-LED headlamp setup that carried over from the standard model.
