Six child laborers evacuated from Kota


Kota: Six child laborers were evacuated on Tuesday from Dhabas in Dabi mining area of Bundi district whereas two other siblings, pressured to employ in bonded labour were reunited with the family.

Kaniz Fatima, circle in-charge, anti-human trafficking cell, Bundi has also conveyed that, six child laborers were evacuated. They were forced to be employed under unhygienic and filthy conditions over hours and were paid very less. Rescued five children are from Rajasthan whereas one is from Madhya Pradesh.

Police further conveyed that, likewise in another case, an 11-year old girl Pooja and her eight-year-old brother Santosh were also rescued and reunited with their mother.

Two were forced to work as bonded laborers by a woman recognized as Suman Sharma (60), a resident of Keshoraipatan town of the district. On 22nd July brother was evacuated from Ramganj Balaji area following he had managed to escape from his employee home.
