Shooting of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie “Tubelight” started in Ladakh


Actor Salman Khan has started shooting for his next film Tubelight in Ladakh. The film has starcast Salman Khan in the lead roles where he will be seen playing a special character in the movie.

The director of the movie Kabir Khan has shared the pictures on Twitter from the location. The photograph of around 200 crew members was also showcased from the twitter account of the director

“200 strong crew all acclimatised and ready to roll,” Kabir tweeted on Wednesday night.

Director Kabir Khan is working for the first time with Salman Khan. Both of them had also worked in movies Ek Tha Tiger which was released in 2012.  Moreover, the duo also worked together in last year’s National Award-winning film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

In the upcoming movie, Salman Khan will play a role of a man-child. Moreover, film is a mix of emotion and humour with a little political backdrop, director said.

The reports revealed that Deepika Padukone will play lead role opposite to Salman Khan in the film. The buzz is going that the Chinese actress will also make her debut in the film.

Salman Khan will also sing in the upcoming movie “Tubelight”. He had famously rendered Hero in Sooraj Pancholi-starrer and followed it up with singing many songs in Sultan.

Movie “Tubelight” is a period film with 1962’s Indo-Chinese war as the backdrop. It is essentially a love story. Salman has been cast opposite his real-life brother Sohail Khan in the film.

“Tubelight” is slated to be release on Eid next year.
