New Delhi: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all set for his upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Shahid was last seen in film ‘Udta Punjab’ opposite Alia Bhatt. The actor achieved top acting award at the 18th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards.
The rumours were doing round that Shahid might be seen in upcoming film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’ but now he has denied to all the reports and said, “I have not signed anything after ‘Padmavati’ and it isn’t a thing to worry about. You should only worry when you are not doing a good film. It’s ok to wait and do good movies. I want to be associated with films that have good content and are entertaining at the same time.”
He added, “I read about it. But I haven’t signed anything after ‘Padmavati’. So wait for an (official) announcement.”
‘Udta Punjab’ actor will play a role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in film Padmavati. The movie features Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead role. It is slated to hit the theatres on 17th November 2017. In the upcoming film, Deepika will essay a role of Rani Padmini while Ranveer will be seen in a role of Sultan Alauddin Khilji .
