Seventh cut off list of DU released at


The seventh cut off list of Delhi University has been released for the commencing academic session 2016. On August 20, the sixth cut off list was released for over 6500 unfilled seats under general and reserved category.

Seventh cut-off list details:

  1. Most general category seats have been filled for the commencing academic session
  2. But candidates seeking admission through various quotas still have the chance to take admission
  3. In Hindu College, BA History (Hons) course is available at 95.50 per cent
  4. Miranda College seats are still on offer for admissions in various courses at 94.50 per cent
  5. At Gargi College, admissions are open for BA History (Hons) at 88.50 per cent
  6. Meanwhile, Dyal Singh College is offering admissions at 84 per cent.
  7. In Maitreyi College, 87 per cent is required for BA (Hons) Political Science programme
  8. Also, BSc (Hons) Chemistry course is available at Daulat Ram College at 92 per cent
  9. At the Hansraj College and Hindu college BSc (Hons) Physics is at 95.66 per cent
  10. After seeing vacant seats, the university has released two more cut off list for the candidates.

Admissions process details:

  1. Admission process for the sixth cut off list will be conducted till August 26
  2. The eight cut-off list will come on August 29 and admissions under this cut-off will be completed on August 30
  3. Meanwhile, the students who are already registered need to apply again for vacant seats, following which, a merit list will be brought out by the college
  4. Moreover, this year, despite cut-offs going low, not many students turned up to take admission in left over courses.
