Seven killed after Cable car crashes in Kashmir


At a prevalent ski-resort, when a cable car snapped after a tree fell on it killed Seven tourists, four of them from a Delhi family

Police detailed a pine tree fell onto a cable car, which dove to earth and killed the tenants, a large portion of whom were tourists.

Gulmarg cop Imtiyas Hussain said a falling tree hit one of the cars, snapping the cars from the cable and sending it down several feet.

Around 150 individuals were stranded in other cable cars on the mountain in high winds, however were later saved.

The cable car, known as the Gulmarg gondola, is one of Kashmir’s top vacation destinations.
