SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: There is a "high possibility" that North Korea has led a fifth atomic test, Yonhap news agency quoted a South Korean government source as saying on Friday.
The remarks came after a 5.3-size shake was distinguished close North Korea's Pyunggye-ri atomic test site as the nation commends its establishment day.
"There is a high probability that it was an atomic test, given the area and the greatness of the shake," said the unidentified authority cited by Yonhap.
Seoul's meteorological office additionally said the tremor, identified by shudder screens the world over including the US and Europe, was "likely an atomic test", as indicated by Yonhap.
Seoul's military likewise said it was investigating the way of the tremor.
On the off chance that affirmed, it would be the fifth nuclear test by the disconnected North. The most recent test was organized in January at the same site at Punggye-ri.
