Sensex falls 163 Points to 31,645, Nifty short at 9,899


Sensex drops by over 163 points or 0.51% at 31,645.87, on the other hand, Nifty falls by 52 points or 0.53% at 9,899.90 on Thursday. On Wednesday, the Indian rupee reduced in the early morning business while on Tuesday, it was noted lesser by 6 paise at 64.18 per dollar against 64.12.

Talking about Tuesday, Indian rupee open at 64.12 a dollar and achieved a high and a low of 64.09 and 64.16  correspondingly. It ended at 64.13 a dollar on Tuesday.

The BSE Sensex was recorded at 107 points to near at 31,809.55 in a uneven business on Tuesday. The highest Sensex on Tuesday was achieved by banking, oil & gas and auto sectors. On the other hand, Nifty too reached higher by 39.35 points or 0.40 per cent to finish at 9,952.20.
