Selma Blair hospitalised after flight outburst

New Delhi : Actress Selma Blair has been taken to hospital after being removed from a flight on a stretcher following a on-board outburst. The actress was taken to a local hospital on Monday after being removed in a stretcher from her Delta flight to Los Angeles for having a reported outburst mid-flight. "She was met by paramedics at LAX as soon as her plane arrived," a source tells People.

It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don't know what sort of prescription medications." Medical staff boarded the aircraft and helped the actress off the plane. She was then taken to a nearby hospital.

The incident comes just days after the Cruel Intentions star opened up about the challenges of being a single mother to her son Arthur Saint – from her relationship with Jason Bleick. Blair was 39 when she gave birth, and while she acknowledges it was quite late in life to have a first child, she wouldn't have had things any other way.
