Union Minister Mahesh Sharma’s security personnel were caught on CCTV camera on Friday. He was seen beaten up housing society guards in Ghaziabad. The incident came to limelight after a video got viraled on social media.
Sharma said, “He had apologized to the guards as soon as he got to know of the incident.”
The Minister for Culture and Tourism alleged that,“I have also suspended my security guard and have asked the police to inquire into the incident. Have also apologised to RWA president. If two security guards are fighting what more can a minister do?”
In the video, the gatekeepers were seen conversing with somebody inside the car before being pulled back by Sharma's security officer. As Sharma's escort moved away, the suspended security officer pointed a finger at the gatekeeper saying something at first. After a minute, he could be seen slapping and whipping the gatekeeper while hollering at him. Another watchman remaining alongside the man attempted to spare him from being beaten, yet he too was slapped over and again consequently. In the wake of halting for some time, the security officer likewise made undermining progresses towards the third man remaining at the scene. He then returned and slapped the gatekeepers once more. Other security officers at long last ceased him.
“It took hardly two minutes for us to open the gate and yet minister ji’s security thrashed and abused us,” Housing guard said.
