New Delhi : On Monday, The Supreme Court granted liquor manufacturers and sellers in Bihar time till July 31 to sell their existing stock outside the state.
The Nitish Kumar government had forced an entire restriction on make, deal and utilization of alcohol in Bihar from April 1 a year ago.
A vacation bench by Justice A.K. Sikri considered the accommodation of the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies that they are confronting enormous financial misfortune in perspective of the denial forced by the state government.
The confederation said liquor valued at almost Rs 200 crore is stuck, and its disposal should be allowed in states wehere it is not banned.
