To give alleviation from period issues to girls amid school time, Barmer district organization has introduced sanitary napkin vending machines at 13 young ladies schools. A bundle of three pads will be accommodated Rs 10 through the machine which will work like an ATM.
District collector Shivprasad Nakate stated, under Swachh Bharat Mission, sanitary napkin vending machines have been introduced at govt girls senior secondary school at Pachpadra,girls secondary school Kawas, girls senior secondary school Siwana, Samdadi, Sindhari, Chauhatan, Bayatu, Gadra street, Dhorimanna, Ramsar, Sheo and Patidu in Barmer area.
He said ladies and girls simply giving Rs 10 need to press a button and napkin bundle will come. Amid school hours if any young ladies get periods then she get pads from the vending machine.
Barmer panchayat samiti development officer Navlaram Choudhary examined the vending machine installed at govt girls secondary school at Kawas. The girls lauded the activity of the locale organization.
Swachh Bharat Mission region extend co-ordinator Puspendra Singh Sodha said that the leader of the school has been informed about utilizing the vending machine subsequent to introducing the same at the school.
