Sania Mirza refused writing to AITA on Venus Williams post-WADA hack report

NEW DELHI: The AITA on Friday rejected having gotten any correspondence from star ladies' tennis player Sania Mirza or her mom Naseema to argue for her sake for a purportedly denied Olympics decoration after programmers uncovered that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) had allowed American Venus Williams to utilize precluded substances under Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).

The nation's pinnacle tennis body was responding to media reports that Sania's mom had encouraged All India Tennis Association (AITA) president Anil Khanna to investigate the matter and address "proper powers".

"All India Tennis Association has received no communication from either Mrs Nasima Mirza or Ms Sania Mirza or MYAS (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports) regarding the issue of WADA, as has been reported by a section of media," AITA said.

Sania Mirza had shared his views on twitter after the AITA statement was released.

"Hope this clears EVERYTHING out! And hoping this will make as big headlines as the 'controversy'! #unneccessarydrama" Sania tweeted.

"This is for everyone who believe everything they read in the media!!! Calm down and think before believing and reacting! #idiots," she added.
