South Korean smartphone maker company Samsung is ready to unveil Galaxy Note 8 handset in India today at an event that will be held at 12:30pm IST in New Delhi. The cellphone is a bigger version of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The handset is IP68-certified for dust and water resistance.
Talking about its features, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 handset involves price tag of Rs $930 (approx Rs. 59,500). It has dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) slot, runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone boasts 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, pixel resolution of 1440×2960. The handset supports Snapdragon 835 SoC or a Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC. It involves 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
Talking about its specifications, Galaxy Note 8 boasts dual rear camera setup, one camera involves 12-megapixel sensor that comes with wide-angle lens, another features 12-megapixel sensor, autofocus, f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the handset comes with 8-megapixel sensor, autofocus, f/1.7 aperture.
The cellphone comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It can be expandable to up to 256GB using microSD card.
Other connectivity options involve 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) )Wi-Fi 802.11ac , NFC, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS as well as MST. It involves fingerprint scanner and a 3300mAh battery.
