Samsung launches Gear 360 camera with two fish eyes lenses


New Delhi: Samsung unveiled Gear 360 camera back during the MWC 2016 conference in February. The Gear 360 camera has now made its way to the United States. The camera has been priced at $349.99 (approx Rs 24,000). The 360-degree shooting camera will be showcased at the VidCon conference in Anaheim, California

Samsung also introduced a dedicated 360-degree video website called Samsung VR for users to upload and share their captured 360-degree video content.

Samsung Gear 360 sports two fish-eye lenses with each having 15MP sensor. The camera can capture images with a resolution of a 30MP and also record 360-degree videos in 4K resolution. Users can also use just one side of the camera to record 180-degree videos and images.  It includes a dual-core processor, a microSD slot for expanded storage cards up to 200GB, and a 1,350mAh battery. It also includes WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

Samsung has also launched a dedicated mobile app that is available from Galaxy Apps store and Google Play Store.
