Samsung launches C5 smartphone with 4GB RAM, 16-Megapixel Camera


NEW DELHI: As reported earlier, Samsung has launched its Galaxy C5 smartphone in China. It flaunts a metal unibody design and will be available in gold, silver, pink and gray coloured variants. As expected, Samsung on Thursday launched its first Galaxy C-Series smartphone – the Galaxy C5. Now lets talk about specifications, the Samsung Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. he phone is available in two Internal storage options – 32GB and 64GB, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The handset is powered by an octa-coreQualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. 

As for the cameras, the phone boasts a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8MP secondary camera for video calling. Samsung Galaxy C5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and offer dual-sim functionality. Connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There is a 2,600 mAh battery rounding up the spec sheet. Recently, Samsung launched a new tablet in the Indian market called the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris. Priced at Rs 13,499, the device is company's first tablet in India that features iris-recognition technology "that is ready for Aadhaar authentication through an integrated and highly secure biometric device." The Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris features a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixel) resolution display. It packs a Quad-core 1.2GHz processor, clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM. It also has a 5MP autofocus rear camera.
