South Korean smartphone maker company Samsung is ready to unveil its latest handsets Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy S9 in the Indian markets today. The handsets were earlier launched in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The pre-registrations for the cellphone has been started for 64GB variant of handsets.
As per the reports, 64 GB variant of Galaxy S9 will involve a cost of Rs 62,5000 whereas 256 GB variant of this handset will have a price tag of Rs 71,000. While, 64 GB variant of Galaxy S9 Plus will have a price of Rs 70,000 and 256 GB variant will cost Rs 79,000. Both the cellphones will go on sale on March 16.
Galaxy S9+ supports 64bit octa-core Exynos 9810 (4x 2.9GHz + 4x 1.9GHz) processor, 6GB of RAM. The cellphone will come up in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB inbuilt storage versions. Galaxy S9 and S9+ handsets will support Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Samsung Galaxy S9+ comes with 6.2-inch Quad HD+ curved display and involve aspect ratio of 18:5:9.
Galaxy S9+ handset will involve dual camera of 12MP telephoto and 12MP wide-angle lenses along with an aperture of f/2.4 and f/1.5 correspondingly. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM card slot, Bluetooth 5, NFC, DeX support, Samsung Pay, USB Type-C port.
The cellphones will run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Galaxy S9 comes with 3,000 mAh battery and involves weight of 163 grams. On the other hand, Galaxy S9+ supports 3,500 mAh battery and involves weight of189 grams.
