South Korean Samsung had unveiled Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ in April 2017 in India at price of Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively. The cellphone went on sale in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colour options. Now, the handsets are accessible in Midnight Black, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver colour options in the US. Recently, popular leakster Evan Blass revealed on Twitter that Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone will go on sale in Coral Blue colour option soon in US. The company shared, “US-bound Galaxy S8/+ in blue”.
Coming to its specifications, Samsung Galaxy S8 feature 5.8-inch Quad HD (2960 x 1440 pixels) Infinity display, on the other hand, Galaxy S8+ boasts 6.2-inch Quad-HD display. The smartphones has display aspect ratio of 18:9. Both the handset has Exynos 8895 chipset and it is powered by Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. It features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable to up to 256GB using microSD card.
Talking about its camera detail, Galaxy S8 and S8+ involves 12-megapixel rear camera that comes with Dual Pixel technology as well as aperture f/1.7. On the front, the cellphones have 8-megapixel camera, smart autofocus, and aperture f/1.7.MP
The smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat and it is powered by 3000mAh battery. The handset has 3500mAh battery that supports fast charging. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and 4G LTE.
Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone weighs 155g and measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm. On the other hand, Galaxy S8+ measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm and weighs 173g.
