South Korean smartphone maker company Samsung unveiled Galaxy Note 8 handset in New York City at an event yesterday. The earlier edition of Galaxy Note7 was stopped in the markets as the reports of battery fire came out by few people. The company has now unveiled successor of Galaxy Note8 handset in the markets.
The latest version of Galaxy Note8 phone has a different design as compared to the earlier edition of the handset. It features Infinity Display on the front and comes with metal and glass cover.
The USP of this handset is its dual camera on the rear side that comes with LED flash and sensors. The handset has fingerprint sensor as well.
Talking about its camera details, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 handset involves dual-camera that comes with 12 MP primary camera (Wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus) and a 12 MP Telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture and 2x Optical Zoom). On the front, the handset involves wide-angle8 megapixel camera to take selfies.
The latest handset involves 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage and 3,300mAh battery that supports fast wire/wireless charging.
Other connectivity options involve facial recognition system, fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi (with MU-MIMO), Type C USB port and many other features.
The customers can purchase Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone in four colour variants including Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Maple Gold and Deepsea Blue at cost of $930(€788/Rs.59,557) in the US. The pre booking for handset has started in the US.
