Samsung Galaxy Note 8 receives ‘Gadget of the Year’ at IMC 2017

South Korean smartphone maker company Samsung has recently unveiled Galaxy Note8 handset in the market.  The handset is honored with ‘Gadget of the Year’ award at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2017 that took place on Friday. It was unveiled in India in the month of September at a price tag of Rs 67,900.

“With the launch of Galaxy Note8, we have further strengthened our leadership in the premium smartphone segment in India and this prestigious award bears testimony to our efforts,” Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India affirmed.

It has aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The cellphone boasts 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable to up to 256GB using microSD card. The handset is powered by 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core SoC.

The smartphone features rear dual camera set-up. It has wide-angle 12MP Dual Pixel autofocus camera that comes with an aperture of 1.7. On the front, it involves 8MP that comes with f1.7 aperture.

The handset boasts 3,300mAh battery that lasts for 43 minutes.
