Samsung Galaxy Note 7 facing Overheating, Battery Issues in South Korea


Smartphone Samsung Note 2 is regularly facing controversy due to battery issues. Several users reported that the phone got exploded while charging.

South Korean TV network YTN reported, “Some customers in South Korea are having issues with their Galaxy Note 7 replacement units. The replacement units of the device that were issued through the exchange program are overheating and losing some amount of battery power even when they are plugged in for charging.”

The company could not able to disclose the cases that have been filed for these issues. Samsung spokesperson said that the issues are completely not related o the battery on the device.

“The issues are related to mass production of the smartphone and company is closely observing the situation,” It added.

Around 1 million Galaxy Note 7 units in US have called for the replacement of the phone. But the company has claimed that the phone are only eligible for refund.
