MUMBAI: Actor Salman Khan who was last seen in film ‘Tubelight’, has now signed a new project ‘Bharat’. The latest report about the film revealed that the movie will hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid next to next year.
The movie is bollywood remake of 2014 South Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’. It displayed events including the Hungnam Evacuation all through the 1950 Korean conflict, the government’s verdict to send off nurses and miners to West Germany in the 1960s and the Vietnam War.
Film Bharat revolves around the voyage of a man that begins in 1947 and finishes in 2002.
Agnihotri affirmed, “It’s the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat.”
“That film is just the starting point for us, but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with ‘Bharat’,” he added.
‘Bharat’ film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It essays Salman in the role of a protagonist.
The film will hit the theatres in the month of April in year 2018. The shooting of movie has been done in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Punjab and Delhi.
