The much-awaited film based on the life of cricket master blaster Sachin Tendulkar released last Friday and has been doing awesome business in the cinema world.
The film that opened to good numbers on Friday has managed to keep the graph steady on Sunday too. As per reports on BoxofficeIndia.com, ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ raked in Rs 9 crore on Sunday taking the total gathering to Rs 23.94 crore.
Written and directed by James Erskine, the film delves into how Sachin turned into the gifted cricketer that we all came to know him by, throwing light on his perseverance and preparation, his trials and tribulations.
Recently the Maharashtra government chosen to waive off the entertainment tax on Tendulkar’s biopic. The film, which was simultaneously shot in Hindi, Marathi and English, has additionally been announced tax-free in Odisha, Kerala, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.
