MUMBAI: The price of rupee has mounted to 66.67 from 6 paise against the dollar today, with exporters and banks going on an offering spree of the US cash and a higher opening in the share trading system backing it up.
Forex merchants said the dollar confronted a few headwinds against different coinage abroad after center US expansion climbed not as much as estimate in September. Proceeded with inflows by remote subsidizes excessively upheld the uptrend.
The rupee had picked up 15 paise to end at 66.73 yesterday on new episode of dollar offering in the midst of powerless abroad slant.
