Rupee recovered 3 paise to 67.08 against US Dollar


MUMBAI: On Thursday the Indian Rupee gained by 3 paise to 67.08 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on augmented selling of the American currency by exporters and banks.

Forex dealers have also further conveyed that, foreign fund inflows and a superior commencing in the domestic equity market also supported the domestic unit.

The rupee had decreased by 5 paise to finish at 67.11 per dollar in Wednesday's buy and sell amid rebound in the US currency in international markets.

For now, the benchmark BSE Sensex increased by 77.99 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 28,137.93 in early buy and sell.
